Combi Cruise
ou tentative d'écouter avec les yeux.		   2016

Projettées sur les deux parties d'un "Split"VW, les deux parties d'un même plan subjectif en boucle sur le périférique pArisien.
Ce qui est singulier, c'est que le temps fort de la base rythmique est escamoté au profit d'une saute d'image, comme si on remplaçait le rythme sonore par un effet visuel.
Le public est invité à prendre place dans le Combi pour visionner la video sur le pare-brise avec la band-son diffusée par les haut-parleurs de l'habitacle.

Video: 00:29:00 en boucle, un lecteur video, 2 videoprojecteurs, 1 minibus VW "Split".

An attempt to listen with eyes.

Aboard a Volkswagen « Split Combi », there is a subjective loop shot on pAris’ ring road ( Périférique). The two parts of the same video are projected on the two parts of the split windshield.
Uncommon is the suspension of some sound beats in favor of picture leaps. As if we replaced the sound beat by a visual one.

The public is invited to have a seat in the Combi, watching the video projected on the windshield. Listening to the soundtrack through the Van's speakers.

 


Installation project
With a 00:29:00 loop, 1 VW minibus "split", one playerand 2 beams.
